Projects and Products

"PERFORMANCE" is a project of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). It is a cooperative system platform for video upload, evaluation, partially automated analysis and archiving.

"MUSKAT" is a project of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research. It involves a multi-sensorially supported recording of offenders in crowds in complex operational situations.

In the in-house research project CrossTEP-OPAL, we are developing a web-based platform toolbox for the acquisition, presentation and intelligent evaluation of sensor data. The aim is to establish a data science pipeline in order to be able to implement application projects revolving around sensor data quickly and cost-effectively.

"ABUL" is an interoperable video evaluation system with integrated real-time and offline procedures and various visualisation components to support the evaluator.

At Fraunhofer IOSB, an image processing module was developed for the recognition of fruit varieties from camera images. The challenge here was to find an algorithmic solution for the colour and texture variations.

"Pat-Re" (Pattern-Retrieval) is a software tool for searching similar images.

The software tool "DevEnviro" serves the efficient and prototypical platform-independent development and implementation of image evaluation procedures under C/C++.

The "STANAG 4609 Validator" was developed for the analysis and simulation of compatible image material.

The "Network Enabled Surveillance and Tracking (NEST)" project aims to create an autonomous surveillance system.

The aim of the "ivisX project" is to develop a software tool for the professional preparation and forensic analysis of video mass data, in particular for efficient navigation and search in large databases.
