Yes! We are hiring student, scientific, administrative as well as technical staff during the Corona pandemic.
Our current vacancies can be found at the top of our careers page. The activities can also be performed in a home office within the scope of the job requirement. If this is not possible, the tasks will be performed at the institute in compliance with the applicable hygiene measures.

Students who would like to apply for a student job, an internship or a thesis at the Karlsruhe location should send their application by e-mail to the academic contact person named in the job posting.
Please enclose a cover letter, your CV and all relevant certificates with your application - preferably in the form of pdf files.
The cover letter will clearly state your qualifications and your motivation to work for our institute. You also make clear the connection between your previous experience and the requirements of the position. If possible, your cover letter should not exceed one A4 page.
In your CV you will clearly and in a structured way present information about yourself, your education, professional practice, knowledge and skills (foreign languages, PC skills and additional qualifications). You may include a photograph, but this optional, is not mandatory.
Applicants for a (compulsory) internship, a thesis or a position as a research assistant must provide us with documents such as their high school diploma, current grades, intermediate diploma, internship certificates and a list of current ECTS points.
If you are a career starter or experienced professional, please enclose all your graduation and employment certificates with your documents.
When applying for an academic position, we would also be pleased to receive an insight into your previous publications that could be of interest to us.

Your application will be processed by our employees and the specialist departments. Please note that this may take some time.
3. Job interview
If your application documents have impressed us, we will invite you for an interview. This is an important step to get to know each other better and to assess the mutual fit.
4. Feedback
If you have convinced us in an interview and our choice has been made, we will start the internal recruitment process.
If you are not chosen, you will receive prompt feedback on your application. Please understand that often only details are decisive in the selection process and do not see this as a general assessment of your qualifications.
It only takes about five minutes of your time to enter your application into our applicant management system, as you only need to enter your master data and upload your most important documents.
Of course, this does not include the time you need in advance to prepare the application documents that you want to upload as documents (pdf files).
