The seminar with practical course "Inspection and characterization of surfaces with image processing" consists of theory and practice. In the first part, theoretical principles and methods of Image processing and surface inspection are presented in the form of lectures and practical applications are described. During the practical course, various inspection systems will be available for students to gain personal experience in small groups.

The 8th ML4CPS offers a platform for exchange between researchers and users from various fields. The conference will be held in English on March 6 and 7, 2025 at the Fraunhofer Forum in Berlin. It will be hosted by the Fraunhofer Institute of Optronics, System Technologies and Image Exploitation IOSB, the Helmut Schmidt University (HSU), the Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH) and the Chair of Production Engineering of E-Mobility Components (PEM) at RWTH Aachen University.
