Situation

As the amount of available information is constantly increasing, the coordination and correct distribution of information to the recipient as "appropriately prepared" information becomes more and more difficult. Commanders at all levels are dependent on extended decision support. This can lead to a data overload and ultimately to a lack of information again.
 

Tasks

A fundamental task of modern information systems is therefore the correct filtering and fusion of data to information in order to give decision makers - depending on their role and task - a correct view of the increasingly complex information space.
