Online Seminar: Security by Design - Developing Machines Securely
With the increasing networking of machines and systems, the dependency on embedded software is also growing steadily. If critical IT infrastructures such as those in hospitals or energy suppliers fail, human lives are at stake. Protecting information technology in production systems as well as machines and plants against sabotage, espionage or manipulation is the task of »Industrial Security«.
The new Security by Design seminar was developed on the basis of IEC 62443 and aims to enable product developers in mechanical engineering to apply the Security by Design principle in the product development process of their machines in a targeted manner. You will learn to recognize security threats at an early stage, to determine protection requirements and to take suitable security measures.
The webinar is practical: The seminar concept was developed in close cooperation with the VDMA Industrial Security working group. The demonstrator will accompany the event via video transmission.
The training is prepared and conducted by Fraunhofer IOSB in cooperation with the VDMA working group and the Fraunhofer Institute for Mechatronics Design IEM.
