In this hands-on webinar, participants* will learn about the Security by Design principle.At the end of the workshop, they will be able to apply this principle in the product development process of their machines. You will learn to recognize security threats at an early stage, to determine protection requirements and to take suitable security measures.

The Control Engineering Colloquium in Boppard is the annual meeting place of the control engineering community from the German-speaking region. It has the character and function of a forum in which the universities and research institutes of the German-speaking region can present and discuss the latest results and innovative ideas from research and development in the field of measurement, control and automation technology.

From March 8 to 10, 2021, a digital Science Campus@Home for female graduates and students of mathematics, computer science, natural sciences and technology will take place with the Fraunhofer Institutes ICT, ISI and IOSB of the Karlsruhe region.

On the eve of the 5th OCM Conference, Fraunhofer IOSB in cooperation with SpectroNet, the cluster for photonics and vachine Vision, will show interested stakeholders from industry, biology, medicine, environment and security the latest developments for optical characterization of materials. At the virtual OCM SpectroNet Collaboration Conference 2021, geo-, color-, multi-, hyper- and full-spectral photonic measurement applications will be presented.

The 5th International Conference on Optical Characterization of Materials (OCM) presents the latest state of research on optical characterization of materials as well as exciting developments in practice, which are driven by new applications and innovative sensor technologies and are constantly evolving.

Under the motto “Industrial Transformation“, Hannover Messe 2021 promises to become the leading knowledge and networking platform for the manufacturing industry, among others, even without face-to-face meetings. It will take place purely in virtual space from 12 to 16 April. Interested parties can obtain a free trade visitor ticket from Fraunhofer IOSB.

Between April 20 and May 4, 2021, nine thematic days with lectures, workshops, discussion rounds and opportunities to exchange experiences will take place during the Industrial Pioneers Days. Fraunhofer IOSB-INA will be represented there on two days.
