Brief description
The rapid digitization of manufacturing and management processes in companies requires continuous, fast and flexible further training of employees. Today's continuing education offerings can only meet individual aspects of these increasing requirements. From a multitude of isolated offers scattered on different learning platforms, employees must find suitable learning units in order to acquire the action competencies necessary to process the operational tasks. TRIPLEADAPT provides the opportunity to find and use suitable learning units and learning opportunities from a variety of existing learning offerings and learning formats. These are individually adapted to the current work and training situation as well as to the skills and knowledge of the employees.
Project goal
The overall project goal is the participatory development of a “digital triplet”. In this process the concept of the digital twin is extended to include a digital learning environment in which employees are supported in problems and obstacles during work processes.
Developments of Fraunhofer IOSB
- Concepts and methods for modeling adaptive learning paths that form the basis for learning recommendations in the digital twin,
- Learning recommendation system models that, based on user models, preferences and learning needs, provide recommendations for the next actions to be taken during training with the “digital triplet”.
- Semantic discovery engine for finding and curating learning content from various connected learning platforms
- Target-group-specific teaching and learning offerings that take into account elements from the areas of gamification and digital game-based learning.
