In this hands-on webinar, participants* will learn about the Security by Design principle.At the end of the workshop, they will be able to apply this principle in the product development process of their machines. You will learn to recognize security threats at an early stage, to determine protection requirements and to take suitable security measures.

The Control Engineering Colloquium in Boppard is the annual meeting place of the control engineering community from the German-speaking region. It has the character and function of a forum in which the universities and research institutes of the German-speaking region can present and discuss the latest results and innovative ideas from research and development in the field of measurement, control and automation technology.

From March 8 to 10, 2021, a digital Science Campus@Home for female graduates and students of mathematics, computer science, natural sciences and technology will take place with the Fraunhofer Institutes ICT, ISI and IOSB of the Karlsruhe region.

The 5th International Conference on Optical Characterization of Materials (OCM) presents the latest state of research on optical characterization of materials as well as exciting developments in practice, which are driven by new applications and innovative sensor technologies and are constantly evolving.

Under the motto “Industrial Transformation“, Hannover Messe 2021 promises to become the leading knowledge and networking platform for the manufacturing industry, among others, even without face-to-face meetings. It will take place purely in virtual space from 12 to 16 April. Interested parties can obtain a free trade visitor ticket from Fraunhofer IOSB.

Fraunhofer IOSB is represented at the joint booth as KCM (Karlsruhe Center for Material Signatures) with the exhibits Spectral-Data-Services; Infrastructure for the use of hyperspectral data with the focus on FoodScanner and Agriculture.

The one-day trade show is the meeting place for the entire bulk solids industry. Trade visitors meet regional exhibitors who offer them solutions for their specific concerns. Fraunhofer IOSB is represented here as a competence partner with two presentations and will moderate a lecture panel.

On October 8, the InnovationFestival @karlsruhe.digital takes place and the latest and best digital innovations of the TechnologieRegion Karlsruhe have the opportunity to present themselves. Fraunhofer IOSB will present the Competence Center for AI Systems Engineering CC-KING.

The German-French conference AIxIA 2021 will take place from November 18 to 19. Fraunhofer IOSB will be represented with a workshop on AI Systems Engineering and a keynote speech.
