In the lighthouse project Factory-X, an open and collaborative data ecosystem for factory outfitters and operators is being developed on the basis of Catena-X and concepts of the Industry 4.0 platform. Fraunhofer IOSB is involved in or leading a number of use cases.

The Fraunhofer Academy's “Cybersecurity Training Lab” is a collaboration between the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft and selected universities of applied sciences. Specialists and managers from industry and public administration receive a compact qualification in high-quality laboratories with up-to-date IT infrastructure.

Fraunhofer IOSB is a partner in the SM4RTENANCE project to enable a federated neutral cross-sector data space, resulting in the development of interoperable circular twins and integration between data spaces
