5th ML4CPS Conference - Machine Learning in Production

Machine learning (ML) in production - experts consider this topic to be crucial for ensuring the international competitiveness of manufacturing companies in Germany.

The 5th conference ML4CPS - Machine Learning in Production from March 12th to 13th, 2020 at the Fraunhofer-Forum Berlin is dedicated to the topics of production improvement, data-based automation of new business models through AI / ML in production. It forms an established forum with numerous experts from science and industry to discuss new approaches of machine learning for cyber-physical systems, to exchange practical experiences and to develop visions.

Cyber Physical Systems are characterized by their ability to adapt and learn: They analyze their environment and learn patterns, correlations and predictive models based on the observations. Typical applications are condition monitoring, predictive maintenance, image processing and diagnosis. Machine learning is the key technology for these developments.

The presentations range from current research to innovative industrial applications and scientific poster sessions.
Networking and a look beyond the horizon on the topic of machine ethics and "AI in art" will round off the conference.

Note: Researchers are required to submit papers. Papers will be selected on a peer-reviewed basis, and accepted papers are expected to be published by Springer.
