Applied Research for Defence and Security in Germany (DWT 2020)

The Fraunhofer Group for Defense and Security Research VVS will be presenting a large number of its interesting innovations at a large joint stand, and will also be represented in the conference program with exciting and informative presentations.

The conference is aimed at members of science and research, the defense industry, the German Armed Forces, the civil service, parliaments, ministries and the defense industry in Germany. After 2014, 2016 and 2018, 2020 will also be the year in which science and research is heard and a three-day forum for intensive exchange and dialogue will be offered.

What will armed forces be confronted with in the future? What technological trends are emerging? What capabilities can be developed from them? What response options will there be in the future?

With the Target Handoff System THS for automated target transfer, Fraunhofer IOSB contributes to the digitized sensor-to-shooter cycle.

With the Digital Positioning Table, a software system for distributed position visualization and position processing, the position visualization is covered up to the preparation and live tracking of missions.
