Fraunhofer IOSB shows a demonstrator of its bulk material sorting system TableSort, for which a digital representation in the form of the Industry 4.0 Asset Administration Shell (AAS) was created. The digital exhibit shows how data from the AAS is transferred between the factory and the customer via connectors of the International Data Space (IDS), while at the same time ensuring a secure, data sovereign and interoperable data exchange of factory data.
