ISuTest®: Automated vulnerability assessment for industrial automation components
The Industrial Security Testing Framework ISuTest® is a tool to find vulnerabilities in the implementations of automation components. Discovered vulnerabilities can be patched by the manufacturer and thus reduce the component's target surface. In the future, robustness against attacks will be a quality criterion that manufacturers can use to set themselves apart from others.
ISuTest® is designed as an open, extensible framework and thus stands out from commercial competitors with closed-source software. The direct target group of ISuTest® are manufacturers and integrators of automation components. It supports its users from the setup of a vulnerability test to the execution and isolation of vulnerabilities to reproduce the bug at the developer's site, who can then fix it.

FA³ST Eco-Twin:
The FA³ST Eco-Twin demonstrator uses the example of a production system to show how asset administration shell-based digital twins for products and production plants can be created and used with the help of tools from the FA³ST ecosystem. A special focus is on the monitoring and calculation of the CO2 footprint of the products, which is based, among other things, on eco-parameters recorded during production. For this purpose, the Asset Administration Shell (AAS) and the corresponding submodels - in particular the Product Carbon Footprint submodel - are used.
The FA³ST ecosystem is an evolving collection of tools which address the individual phases in the entire life cycle of a digital twin. The FA³ST service is an open source Java implementation that enables the creation of executable digital twins according to the AAS specifications.
